26th March 2021 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5-F6 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 8 Sea Temperature: 7.9 Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Chillier today and snow on high tops, but warm sailing in the sun.5.3m was right sail but felt gutless until I added some down and outhaul. Big rears in as 5.3m but board felt so slow, guess quads really are meant for tootling amongst waves or perhaps even 5.3m is getting too big. Pleased most outside gybes in but fluffed loads inside; still hanging onto sail too long and not tight enough. Ended on two good ones but getting too windy for 5.3m. Tired. Roger winging it but didn't stay long. |
